Ethical rules

With over 550 employees who solve a multitude of tasks throughout Europe on a daily basis, our employees are naturally used to having to adapt to a sea of individual laws and rules for good behaviour.
As a responsible company, it is therefore only natural for us to comply with the general CSR obligations.
Our own ethical rules are based on the basic common international guidelines, which are implemented throughout our company – from management to employees, customers and other business partners.
The rules are based on the internationally recognized UN standards and current legislation, where

Social responsibility

Through our CSR policy, we place particular emphasis on our social responsibility, the environment and health through sport. We also have a strong tradition of always supporting our employees’ wishes for further education and inspiring training programmes.

Our CSR activities include:

Health-promoting sporting activities

At Thermo-Transit we have for many years had training facilities available for our employees and we regularly support various sports activities in the local community, and when Rynkeby organised a special cycling trip to Paris in 2012, we participated with our very own team.

We are convinced that sport plays an important role in changing the world for the better and in challenging and breaking down prejudices and social boundaries.

That’s why we are happy to help and support activities that help move society in the right direction. In the future, this also applies to supporting individual non-profit organisations. In other words, we want to make a difference!

Environmental responsibility

We want to make a special effort to promote efficient and sustainable use of the earth’s resources, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and correspondingly minimise the negative impact some of our activities may have on our health and the environment.

We all share responsibility for reducing pollution and environmental impact, which is why all of our 400 state-of-the-art lorries meet Euro standards 5 and 6 – and all have special environmentally friendly equipment installed.

In addition, the trucks are replaced every three years and the new refrigeration systems installed in the refrigerated trailers reduce fuel consumption by as much as 15%.

To ensure that our customers are offered the most environmentally friendly solutions for transporting frozen and refrigerated goods safely and quickly across Europe, all our vehicles have implemented a special Environmental Management System that fulfils the ISO 14001:2004 standard.

Here are our most important environmental considerations:
  • Reducing pollution and CO2 emissions
  • Promote waste sorting within the company for recycling and waste disposal
  • Involving our partners and employees in promoting environmental protection
  • Integrate environmental criteria in the procurement of goods and services
  • Comply with the requirements of environmental legislation
  • Avoiding environmentally harmful emissions
Electronic invoicing

To minimise paper consumption, we use e-invoicing as an effective tool.
